Quality

Quality is on the agenda

Wilson James strives to achieve the highest quality of service in all divisions of our business and a framework exists to manage, and ensure compliance with, our company policies, procedures and site based assignment instructions. These are in place to ensure the business is run within approved parameters but not to preclude innovation. Quality itself is an agenda item for each Board Meeting and key performance indicators are reported monthly, ensuring this essential facet of our operations remains in focus at all times.

Meeting industry standards

Wilson James has achieved accreditation to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. Our ISO9001 scope includes all relevant security industry British Standards (BS7499, BS7858, BS7960 and BS7958). We have also undergone annual inspections under the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme since its inception in 2007 and believe we have recorded the highest ever score in the country. In addition, we are also accredited to the NSI Guarding Gold scheme and have recently been awarded the very first ever NSI Contract Quality Marque certificates.

Continually improving our business

Continuous improvement is a fundamental part of our company ethos and we have many ways in which we capture advancements of all types within the business. One of our main successes is the Best Practice Forum which meets every other month. This is attended by management staff throughout the organisation and its remit is to drive improvement projects through the business. We also have a Business Improvement Forum, aimed at a level below management, specifically designed to extract ideas from the shop floor - the main focus being on saving time and money and increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
