Wilson James Working in Partnership with Police Scotland to Keep our Communities Safe

16th November 2017

Wilson James in Scotland are supporting Police Scotland in their endeavours to ‘Keep Our Communities Safe’ by providing a vehicle for use by the Crime Reduction Unit in the North East Division.

Constables Bob McKinney and Jim Watson proactively promote crime prevention and crime reduction measures in homes and businesses in and around Aberdeen.  They work closely with the community partners to promote physical and technical security measures and guidance on new builds through architectural liaison, and also the reduction of hate crime by promoting diversity in our communities.

The provision of this car by Wilson James will allow Bob and Jim to meet the needs of the public and of business clients without them impacting on the valuable resource of front line operational vehicles.

Safer Communities lead within North East Division’s Partnerships & Events Unit,  Inspector Colin Taylor said,, “We are very grateful to Wilson James for the provision of this vehicle as it makes a world of difference to the flexibility of the team when arranging appointments and meetings. This is partnership working at its best.”

Keith Fleming, Director-Scotland for Wilson James said, “We are pleased to be able to support our local Police in this way and to demonstrate our commitment to safer communities.
