Caudwell Children’s Destination Dreams
On the 3rd of December the Caudwell Group travelled through Gatwick on a holiday of their dreams to Orlando, Florida.
A huge amount of planning went on behind the scenes to organise and coordinate 157 passengers, with many severely disabled children travelling. Many of the children required specific additional support from the hotel, through to the North Terminal, check in to the boarding agent and on to the aircraft. The Gatwick staff went above and beyond to make the time at Gatwick a stress free and easy journey for both the children and their families.
Well done to Gary Morris who coordinated the Wilson James team through out the day and also to all the volunteers who came in on their days off to escort these families. Ruth Rabet, Head of Assisted Services London Gatwick Airports said, “the smiles on the children’s faces was priceless, this makes our job worthwhile.”
Well done to the Wilson James team for all their hard work.
