Dementia Friendly Conference

On 4 May 2018 Ruth Rabet from the Wilson James team at Gatwick Airport presented alongside James Fremantle from the CAA at the Plymouth International Dementia Conference.

In 2017 the Gatwick staff assisted 617,000 passengers, they were able to do this as all their staff are Dementia Friends. During the conference they discussed the hidden disability lanyard and why they decided to launch it. They also mentioned the benefits the lanyard had for each and every passenger that wears it. Please reach out to the Gatwick based Wilson James team for more information on the lanyard and supporting hidden disabilities.
