Marching For March
RED January was a great success for everyone at WJ. In total as a team of 56 people we clocked 16,321,809 steps, which is the approximate equivalent of walking 8160.09 miles. This is an incredible achievement! The challenge brought many people together in the office and motivated people to get up and walk instead of always taking the car, helping everyone’s Health and Wellbeing!
Therefore, WJ has decided to start a new internal walking challenge called ‘Marching for March.’
The challenge remains the same: one million steps over the whole of March. Your team is allowed five participants, which averages to around 6,500 steps per day, per person. Every week the team with the most steps will be given a small prize and at the end of the month the team with the most steps will win a big prize!
Although January is a great time for new health resolutions, why not carry this on by challenging yourself in March too? We hope as many of you can take part as possible. Just remember by the time March comes, summer is only three months away!
