Mental Health – National Inclusion Week

Time To Change

No matter who you are or what has happened in your life, there is a place for you at Wilson James.

The second main strand of the Wilson James EDI approach is mental health. Our priorities focus on:

Normalising the conversation.

We all have mental health. However, one in four of us will struggle with mentally ill health this year. From stress and anxiety, to depression and other clinical conditions, we want you to know that there is no judgement.

We should be aiming to get to a place where talking about mental health is like discussing the weather. Please continue to engage with the Time to Change champions and review the content on our newsfeed and in the HSW newsletter for top tips and information on campaigns.

Please also view and share our messages, such as our recent suicide awareness video:

World Suicide Prevention Day

Supporting our colleagues

We have a dedicated team of Mental Health First Aiders and the Employee Assistance Line provides 24/7 confidential advice for any issues you might be facing.

Reviewing policy

We still have lots to learn. We will be reviewing our policies surrounding mental health and wellbeing, as well as looking at better training for our management teams.
