National Apprenticeship Week: 3-9 February 2020

People Agenda

National Apprenticeship Week is a great time to celebrate the progress and achievements of Wilson James’s apprentices and recognise their hard work and dedication to personal development. It is also an opportunity to educate our teams on the changing landscape of apprenticeships, highlight the variety of apprenticeship subjects available and how these employer-led programmes can contribute to career enhancement.

During the week, we’ll be showcasing a range of learning initiatives, including:

  • Lunch and Learns – taster sessions to discover more about our apprenticeship programmes.
  • Podcasts – tune in to the Apprenticeship Series podcast (also available on WJ Hub) where we’ll be speaking to some of our current apprentices to find out more about their learning journey. We’ll also be discussing our involvement in the trailblazer for a Security Apprenticeship with HR Director, Samantha Rope.
  • Roadshows – we’ve arranged a number of roadshows, both in our support centres and operations, where we will be presenting on the various subjects in our apprenticeship offer.

Download the full schedule here, and get in touch with us at to book a place at one of our events.
