New online induction for WJ starters

We are delighted to share with you our new online induction for employees joining the business. Please click here to watch a short explainer video.




We have improved the overall look and feel of the induction to give new starters a warm welcome to Wilson James and to ensure they are familiar with the organisation, our culture, our history, the importance of our values, as well as continuing to uphold the importance of the health and safety induction module.


Three short videos – four minutes long in total – have been introduced, each designed to provide new starters with key information on what they need to know about being part of the Wilson James family. We have also produced supplementary downloads and handouts for people to review.


The new online induction is user friendly and much easier to navigate, including directing new joiners to next steps e.g. site inductions.




The Health and Safety induction module and quiz remains the same as the previous induction. Individuals are required to watch the 24 minute video and gain 100% in the quiz. This is audited and reported on by the Training team.


The induction is hosted on the WJ Hub and new starters will receive their login details from the HR Shared Services team.
