Charity of the Year
Every year, we select a ‘Charity of the Year’ and a number of fundraising events are organised across the country to support this charity. As a company, we also support a number of other worthwhile organisations.
Our charity of the year for 2018 is Mind.
Our partnership with Mind will aim to promote good mental health throughout Wilson James and beyond, while funding vital support centres that reach the most vulnerable amongst us.
Duke of Edinburgh (DofE)
Wilson James is a corporate partner to the DofE. We support the Charity towards its aim of 2 million young people in the UK benefitting from their DofE by 2020, regardless of any barriers. This is an ambitious target and the aim is to significantly increase those participating from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Armed Forces Covenant Silver Level
Wilson James is a proud supporter of the Armed Forces Covenant. The covenant focusses on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen, this includes education, having a home or starting a new career.
