Leading security, logistics and aviation services provider Wilson James is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new partnership agreement with Crisis, the national charity for homeless people. Founded in 1967, amidst growing realisation of the extent of the homelessness crisis across the UK, Crisis seeks to support individuals out of homelessness, through education, training and support with housing, employment and health.
Charity partners that align with Wilson James’ vision and values are an integral part of its Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, which encompass goals and improvement initiatives in three streams: People, Planet and Performance. This new partnership follows three successful years with Mind, the mental health charity, during which the Wilson James team raised over £40,000 in donations and launched an internal education and participation campaign in collaboration with Time to Change.
Corporate Partnership Account Manager Dan Isitt with Crisis: “Every day we see the devastating impact that sleeping rough or in unstable accommodation has on people’s lives. Crisis works side by side with thousands of homeless people every year to help them achieve better health and wellbeing, secure stable employment and a place to call home, as well as tirelessly campaigning to tackle the root causes of homelessness. We’re delighted to be partnering with Wilson James and we look forward to engaging with staff over the coming months on fundraising, volunteering and campaigning activities. Our work simply wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our partners. On behalf of everyone at Crisis, I’d like to thank Wilson James for their support.”
