Wilson James was celebrating last night as Keely Watson Security Manager at the Francis Crick Institute, was announced the winner in the “Frontline” category at the Professional Security Magazine Women in Security Awards.
The annual awards sponsored by NSI, recognise the vital role women play within the industry and are judged by a panel of experts from organisations such as the SIA, ASIS and The Security Institute.
Wilson James’ client at The Crick, Head of Security David Clark commented: ‘Keeley is an example to women across the security industry. She is an extremely capable operator which is demonstrated on a daily basis. Through engagement with her peers she inspires and encourages with obvious passion and a desire to succeed and is a credit to our security operation”
Having one of their own managers as a finalist made it an extra special event for Wilson James. Keeley has consistently demonstrated a professional yet compassionate approach when carrying out her duties. She has also taken time to become an active contributor to the wider industry, initiatives. She is involved in the ASIS Young Professionals Programme and is passionate about making security a career of choice. She has also been a speaker as an advocate of Project Griffin, and its benefits in helping with career progression.
